    Brief

    Dublin City Libraries is seeking a single-party framework supplier for the lease, installation, maintenance, and support of RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) equipment to modernize library operations. The framework will encompass core circulation functions, borrower identification and authentication systems, item identification through RFID technology, staff workstations and pads, secure integration with the existing Library Management System, and a vendor protocol declaration requirement. The solution must deliver an intuitive user interface and borrower experience, support remote configuration and content management capabilities, generate receipts and transaction summaries, comply with privacy and data protection regulations, provide staff access and administration tools, offer comprehensive reporting and monitoring, ensure accessibility and equality compliance, maintain high reliability and resilience with remote software updates, and support current operating systems with proper lifecycle management.
