Digital Wayfinding Platform for Moorfields Eye Hospital

Moorfields Eye Hospital and UCL Centre for Eye Health at St Pancras seeks a single supplier to deliver an accessible digital wayfinding platform enabling patients, visitors, staff, and students to navigate the new building independently. The solution must provide interactive digital building maps, destination search, point-to-point routing across multiple floors, and step-free navigation options accessible via mobile web and QR codes—no app download required. A core requirement is accessibility for visually impaired patients, including audio navigation and routing validated with representative users. The platform must integrate with the Patient Self-Service Check-In kiosk and the Indoor Location Services (RTLS) infrastructure where available, while functioning independently where RTLS is unavailable at launch. The contract runs for an initial two-year term with two optional one-year extensions. This is a Competitive Flexible Procedure under the Procurement Act 2023, evaluated on 60% quality, 10% social value, and 30% price.
