Real Time Passenger Information System for Essex

The Authority seeks a single Contractor to deliver comprehensive Real Time Passenger Information (RTPI) services across Essex. Key responsibilities include: (1) providing RTPI software for existing and new equipment across multiple locations; (2) maintaining all RTPI equipment to ensure continuous functionality of the Authority's RTPI estate; and (3) procuring, installing, and managing new or replacement RTPI equipment as required by the Authority. The initial contract term runs from signature through 30 June 2034, with an optional five-year extension at the Authority's discretion. This contract aims to enhance access to real-time passenger information across Essex to increase bus ridership and support public transport as a viable alternative to car travel, improving access to employment, education, retail, and healthcare services.
