Consumer-Led Flexibility for Clean Energy Innovation

UK registered organisations can apply for funding of up to £25 million through the UKRI R&D Missions Accelerator Programme's Clean Energy Superpower Mission. This funding supports pre-commercialisation projects that enable consumers to actively participate in flexible energy management and demand response. The initiative aims to accelerate the development and testing of innovative technologies and services that empower consumers to engage with the clean energy transition, improve grid stability, and support the UK's renewable energy goals. Eligible organisations should demonstrate how their projects will help consumers adapt their energy use, reduce costs, and contribute to a sustainable energy system.
