Brief

The School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering seeks to procure a complete thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) system for the PEACEPLUS Clean Air project. The system will measure thermal decomposition behavior, mass loss profiles, ash content, and combustion characteristics of solid fuel samples under controlled atmospheric conditions. Key requirements include: full supply and delivery to site; professional installation and commissioning; operator training; warranty coverage; and ongoing maintenance support. The equipment must be compatible with coupling to a gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) system for evolved gas analysis. The analytical platform should comply with relevant ISO and ASTM standards for fuel characterization and thermal analysis. This equipment will support research activities, method development, accredited testing, and emissions investigations related to solid fuel assessment.
