Procurement of IT Infrastructure Components for Existing Data Racks

This contract opportunity involves equipping five existing Rittal Micro Data Center (Level E) IT racks with essential technical infrastructure to ensure secure and reliable IT operations. Suppliers are required to deliver, install, and make operational the following components: fire detection and suppression systems for each rack, climate control solutions for the racks and the separate technical room housing the UPS systems, monitoring and sensor systems to track relevant physical environmental parameters, two uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems to support the climate control systems and active IT components, and power distribution units (PDUs) for integration into the racks to supply power to the IT equipment to be installed later. The services sought are aimed at expanding an existing rack setup by adding five additional IT racks, which will be empty at the time of delivery and will be fully equipped with the described infrastructure during this project. A central CMC monitoring system is already in place, including an LTE module for alarm forwarding, and the integration of the newly supplied systems into this existing environment is mandatory. Reliable alarm forwarding through the existing LTE module must be ensured. To enhance operational reliability, functional redundancy is required at defined points, particularly for: the climate control of the UPS room, which must be designed with redundancy control; the climate control of the IT racks to ensure uninterrupted cooling; the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) through an n+1 redundancy concept; and the power supply of the IT racks through separate supply paths (e.g., A/B feed).
