Romania – Construction of Road Bridges – Execution of Works for the Investment Objective: "Construction of a Road Overpass at the Intersection of DN1 with Bulevardul Republicii" (SINAIA SUD)

This procurement procedure aims to realize the investment objective: "Construction of a Road Overpass at the Intersection of DN1 with Bulevardul Republicii" (SINAIA SUD). Currently, traffic within the city of Sinaia is challenging due to the high number of vehicles passing through DN1, as well as pedestrian crossings and local traffic from streets converging into DN1. This leads to long waiting times in traffic jams caused by prolonged vehicle stops in the city, increased fuel consumption, noise pollution, and higher emissions. The proposed location for this investment is in Prahova County, Sinaia (Southern area) at the intersection of DN1 with Bulevardul Republicii. To improve traffic flow by eliminating conflict points, the project includes the redesign of the intersection area between DN1 and Bulevardul Republicii by constructing an overhead road overpass. The main objective of this investment is to enhance the economic efficiency of Romania's transport network and improve travel speed between Comarnic and Predeal by alleviating congestion on the existing route (DN1), thus enhancing regional connectivity. The estimated total value for the execution of works for the investment objective: "Construction of a Road Overpass at the Intersection of DN1 with Bulevardul Republicii" (SINAIA SUD) is 52,802,980.39 lei excluding VAT, which includes: 1.2 Land development = 1,731,488.02 lei excluding VAT. 1.3 Environmental protection measures and restoration of the land to its original state = 4,073,027.21 lei excluding VAT. 1.4 Costs for utility relocation/protection = 9,576,824.60 lei excluding VAT. 2.1 Electricity supply = 7,668.43 lei excluding VAT. 4.1 Construction and installations = 36,071,942.38 lei excluding VAT. 4.5 Equipment = 34,708.72 lei excluding VAT. 5.1.1 Construction and installation works related to site organization = 784,392.62 lei excluding VAT. 5.1.2 Related expenses for site organization = 522,928.41 lei excluding VAT. The values presented are indicative. The total estimated value of 52,802,980.39 lei excluding VAT should not be exceeded in the bidding process. Any interested economic operator has the right to request clarifications/additional information regarding the award documentation up to the 22nd day before the deadline for submitting offers. The contracting authority will respond clearly and completely to all requests for clarifications/additional information regarding the award documentation on the 12th day before the deadline for submitting offers. The contracting authority will not respond to clarification requests submitted after the established deadline.
