Adult Social Care Co-production and Engagement Service

Essex County Council seeks a co-production and engagement service partner to support Adult Social Care (ASC) by consolidating existing co-production services into a single, coordinated model. The service will establish structured engagement mechanisms including locality networks, lived experience forums, and engagement activities to maintain strong relationships with adults, carers, and people with lived experience. The successful provider will capture and utilize insights to inform policy, commissioning, and service improvements while expanding participation among underrepresented and seldom-heard groups. The service must support the embedding of co-production within ASC governance and decision-making processes, ensuring a coherent and impactful approach that strengthens the influence of lived experience across Adult Social Care in line with the Care Act 2014 and the Authority's person-centred service design commitments. All bids must be submitted through the Open procurement system; clarification questions are not accepted via email. The contract value includes optional extension periods, and opportunities are classified under ProClass code 111230 (Social Care).
