Kent County Council Security Services Contract

Kent County Council is seeking qualified security service providers for two separate lots covering their corporate estate and specialized properties. Lot 1 encompasses approximately 300 operational sites including libraries, children's centres, and offices. Lot 2 covers 10 properties designated for Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children. Services required include manned guarding (with patrols, reception cover, voice announcement, controlled access, and CCTV), patrol services, key holding and incident response, and lock/unlock services, delivered on a fixed, variable, and reactive basis as detailed in the contract schedule. The contract will commence in March 2027 for an initial 3-year term with a potential 2-year extension. KCC reserves the right to add or remove sites during the contract period. Tenderers may bid for one or both lots with no limit on awards. The procurement uses a Competitive Flexible Procedure; interested suppliers must register on the Kent Business Portal, sign a non-disclosure agreement, and complete the Procurement Specific Questionnaire to receive draft tender documents.
