Brief

Kent County Council is seeking organisations to participate in market engagement sessions on 25 August and 4 September 2024 to help shape the future Home Safety and Security Installation Service. This service will provide property security and target hardening interventions to help domestic abuse survivors and vulnerable residents remain safely in their own homes. Who should attend: Organisations with experience in domestic abuse sanctuary-style provision, property security assessments, and trauma-informed service delivery. We welcome providers from domestic abuse, housing, community safety, safeguarding, and property security sectors with expertise in partnership working across statutory and voluntary services. What we want to discuss: The sessions will cover service design models, delivery approaches, partnership options, eligibility criteria, referral pathways, and market capacity. Your feedback will directly inform how the Council develops and procures this service. Key details: The estimated contract value is up to £500,000 per annum for an initial 3-year term with optional 2-year extension. This procurement will follow the Procurement Act 2023. A formal tender will be launched later, with details published on the Central Digital Platform and Kent Business Portal. To register: Email domesticabusecommissioning@kent.gov.uk by Friday 21 August. Create a supplier profile on the Kent Business Portal to receive notifications about the formal tender launch.
