Sandblasting, Repair, and Repainting Services for Tipper Trucks – Donegal County Council

Donegal County Council is seeking a contractor to provide refurbishment and maintenance services for six-wheel tipper trucks and council-owned plant equipment. The initial contract covers 4 trucks with an option for up to 3 additional units. Services include complete abrasive blasting of truck bodies, chassis, and components; structural and cosmetic bodywork repairs; Hardox floor replacement or overlay where needed; installation of aluminium side protection strips; cab undercarriage and panel repairs with focus on corrosion and rust damage; complete repainting in council-approved colours; general steel fabrication repairs; replacement of tipping ram bushings and hinge assemblies; removal and refitting of toolboxes and ancillary components; and application of full protective coating systems with safety marking reinstatement. All works must be performed at the contractor's approved premises unless otherwise agreed in writing. The contract includes ongoing maintenance and preventive works on council-owned plant as instructed throughout the contract period. Suppliers must have the capability, equipment, and experience to deliver heavy vehicle refurbishment services to professional standards.
