Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultant for Aghilly Road Project – Design, Procurement and Construction Support

Donegal County Council is seeking a multidisciplinary engineering consultant to support the Aghilly Road Project through three critical phases funded by the Housing Infrastructure Investment Fund (HIIF). The consultant will be responsible for detailed design and procurement (Phase 5), construction oversight and implementation (Phase 6), and project close-out and review (Phase 7). Key responsibilities include preparing detailed designs, managing procurement processes, providing supervision during construction, administering contracts, managing costs and risks, and ensuring compliance with HIIF approval requirements and national Infrastructure Guidelines. The successful consultant will act as the Employer's Representative, coordinate all professional services delivery, and support the client through all regulatory approval gates. The engagement will be governed by the Standard Conditions of Engagement for Consultancy Services (Technical). This is a comprehensive role requiring expertise in engineering design, project management, procurement, and construction administration for a major infrastructure development.
