    Brief

The Department for Education is seeking organisations to partner with its free breakfast club programme, which launches nationally in September 2026 across primary schools serving pupils aged 5-11. Schools need enrichment resources and activities to make breakfast clubs more engaging and educational. We welcome offers of physical resources (toys, games, activity kits, books, arts and crafts supplies, sports equipment) or voucher-based options (gift cards, redeemable credits) that support child-led activities in these areas: creativity, outdoor exploration, physical activity, community connection, and life skills development. Resources should be suitable for Reception, Key Stage 1 (ages 5-7), and/or Key Stage 2 (ages 7-11) pupils. Participating schools will choose whether to use partner offers based on their needs and available space. This is a non-mandated partnership opportunity to help schools set up breakfast clubs and welcome pupils at the start of the academic year. A webinar for interested organisations will be held on 20 May 2026 at 11:00. To register or express interest, contact breakfastclubs.partnering@education.gov.uk.
