Guildhall Public Conveniences Plumbing and Sanitary Ware Refurbishment

This project involves the complete removal, refurbishment, and reinstallation of plumbing and sanitary ware at Guildhall Public Conveniences, carried out in three phases over September 2024. Work includes removal of existing cubicles, toilets, and sinks; inspection and repair of fixed plumbing; installation of 5 new commercial-quality cisterns, 5 toilet bowls, 5 cubicles in light grey, 2 sink vanity units, 4 sinks with low water-use taps, and 1 accessible toilet with sink; and preparation of floors for professional resin flooring installation by a separate contractor. Suppliers must recommend and quote for all fixtures and fittings, provide a detailed cost breakdown by element, and submit an overall project cost valid for 4 months. Works begin week of 7 September, with flooring installation week of 14 September, and final installation and testing week of 23 September, targeting reopening by 1 October. All work includes daily waste removal, site meetings with the flooring contractor, provision of pedestrian barriers, and a 6-month guarantee on installation and workmanship.
