Whole Life Costing and Building Survey Consultant for Commercial Properties

Central Bedfordshire Council is seeking a qualified consultant to perform whole life costing assessments for approximately 45 commercial units within mixed-use residential and commercial blocks. The primary objective is to determine sinking fund requirements for service charges and conduct reinstatement cost assessments. The consultant will also be required to conduct building surveys at various stages, including pre-letting inspections, during-lease periodic reviews, and for newly acquired or constructed units. The Council expects several changes annually across its commercial portfolio. The Council will provide comprehensive support and documentation to assist with quotation preparation. All questions submitted through the In-Tend electronic tendering system by 12 June 2026 at 12pm will be answered and shared with all bidders to ensure fair and consistent evaluation. All quotations must be submitted electronically via the In-Tend system's My Return section no later than 16 June 2026 at 12pm; late submissions will be rejected.
