Independent Delivery Body for Community Scrutiny of Metropolitan Police

MOPAC seeks an Independent Delivery Body to manage a Community Scrutiny programme for the Metropolitan Police. The role has two key operational levels: (1) Borough-level support: coordinate scrutiny panels, manage volunteers, gather evidence, build relationships, and ensure follow-up actions across London boroughs; (2) Pan-London integration: consolidate local insights to identify patterns, ensure scrutiny findings inform MOPAC's oversight and influence MPS policy, learning and supervision. The contract runs for 2 years (£2,391,122) with optional extensions of up to 2 further one-year periods (£1,200,000 per annum), with potential total value of £4,791,122. The successful delivery body will strengthen community engagement in police oversight and drive organisational improvement across the Metropolitan Police Service.
