Brief
ESOS Energy Ltd is seeking a qualified contractor to provide gas renewal services for Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership and its schools. The successful contractor will be responsible for securing and implementing new gas supply arrangements before existing contracts expire, ensuring uninterrupted service, regulatory compliance, and transparent decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate site and meter data collection and validation
- Manage market engagement and quotation processes
- Support contract evaluation and award decisions
- Oversee onboarding and mobilisation with new gas suppliers
- Deliver services according to each school's contract expiry timeline
Delivery Requirements:
- Provide clear timelines, identified dependencies, and named contacts for operations and escalations
- Implement governance and reporting procedures, including weekly status updates during active renewal periods
- Report exceptions for at-risk sites and maintain audit trails for all communications and decisions
- Meet safeguarding, data protection, and compliance requirements with secure handling of sensitive site and billing data
- Manage and declare all third-party involvement
Performance Metrics:
- Complete all renewals before contract end dates
- Achieve zero loss of supply incidents
- Maintain accuracy of meter and site data
- Ensure correct first-time billing with accurate sites, rates, and dates
- Provide responsive query and escalation management
Contract Details:
Start Date: 1 September 2026
Duration: 12, 24, or 36 months (term to be determined based on best value for money, considering total cost, pricing profile, risk, and service delivery)
