Leicester College Seeks Turing Scheme Partner Organisations for 2026/27 International Student Placements

Leicester College has secured Turing Scheme contracts for further education (FE) and higher education (HE) students in 2026/27 and is seeking experienced partner organisations to organise, manage and deliver overseas mobility placements. The college intends to contract with one or more providers during the contract period, with an anticipated annual service value of £25,000 to £125,000 depending on organisational capacity, costs and student numbers. Key requirements for partner organisations include: demonstrable experience supporting international mobility placements with UK further education students (including apprentices); proven experience working with disadvantaged, underrepresented and SEND students with tailored support; provision of high-quality work placements with external employers that develop transferable skills and enhance educational and career prospects; placements lasting 14-15 days minimum (10 work/study days) or at least 7 days for SEND students; placements scheduled between 1 October 2026 and 31 August 2027; and clear understanding of Turing Scheme funding categories and DfE grant rates. Leicester College will assess potential destinations based on strong employer networks and value for money within DfE funding rates. All destinations must comply with Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) travel advice, with particular consideration given to regions experiencing political instability, conflict or travel disruptions.
