Leicester College Seeks Turing Scheme International Mobility Partners for 2026/27

Leicester College has secured Turing Scheme contracts for further education and higher education students in 2026/27 and is seeking experienced partner organisations to organise, manage, and deliver overseas mobility placements. Opportunity Overview: Leicester College intends to contract with one or more providers to support student cohorts in gaining international work experience and study placements. The anticipated contract value is £25,000 to £125,000 annually, depending on capacity, costs, and student volumes. Minimum Requirements: - Demonstrable experience supporting international mobility placements for UK further education students, including apprentices - Evidence of working with disadvantaged, underrepresented, and students with SEND, with tailored support approaches - Access to high-quality work placements with external employers that develop transferable skills and enhance educational and career prospects - Ability to arrange placements for 14-15 days (minimum 10 work/study days), or at least 7 days for students with SEND - Placements scheduled between 1 October 2026 and 31 August 2027 - Clear understanding of Turing Scheme funding categories and DfE grant rates for selected destinations Destination Assessment: Partners should propose destinations where they have strong employer networks and can deliver value for money within DfE funding rates. All destinations will be assessed against FCDO travel advice and the College's risk assessment protocols, with particular attention to regions affected by political instability, conflict, or travel disruptions.
