Tree Works at Britannia Park

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking qualified contractors to provide tree work services at Britannia Park. This includes three separate tasks for hazardous tree works in the first year: 1. Remove and chemically treat Lombardy poplar trees, followed by stump grinding three months later. 2. Remove every other Lombardy poplar tree, chemically treat them, and grind the stumps three months later. The remaining poplar trees will be pruned back to previous points. 3. Reduce Lombardy poplar trees to previous pruning points without removal. Additionally, for tree number 85, please provide a quote for removal and stump grinding. The work is scheduled to be completed in late August or early September. Interested contractors should contact Matt Gardner or Sunish Patel for site visits. All quotes must be submitted through the In-tend e-Tendering System at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/sandwellmbc, where you can register, express interest, and access necessary documents.
