    Seaton Valley Council is seeking suppliers to help replace and upgrade playpark equipment across its facilities to create safe, durable, and inclusive outdoor spaces that promote well-being. The council aims to enhance its environmental sustainability and biodiversity as part of this initiative. This contract involves the removal and disposal of outdated equipment at two specific locations, followed by the supply and installation of new equipment. The locations are: - Seaton Sluice Young Person's Playpark, Beresford Road - St. Michael's Avenue Young Person's Playpark, New Hartley Contractors will be responsible for excavating and disposing of existing climbing frames at both sites. They will also supply and install a new inclusive multigym at each location, including the repair of the surrounding area with wet-pour surfacing. All necessary safety checks must be completed after installation. Interested suppliers must submit a completed form by the deadline, which includes details such as company profile, relevant experience, a description of the work to be done, equipment to be supplied, adherence to safety standards, availability, timeline, and a detailed quote for each component. Suppliers are encouraged to visit the playparks before submitting their proposals. Submissions will be evaluated based on several criteria, including: - Price: Overall cost-effectiveness and long-term value. - Quality: Durability and safety of materials and equipment. - Play Value: Range and quality of play activities for various ages and abilities. - Design: Aesthetic appeal and integration with the environment. - Safety: Compliance with safety standards and regulations. - Environment: Sustainability and environmental impact of materials and installation. - Experience: Track record in similar projects. - Maintenance: Maintenance needs and warranty for the equipment. - Legal and Compliance: Proof of relevant insurances and health and safety protocols. - Timeline: Proposed start and completion dates. - Clarity: Well-structured and concise submission. The deadline for submissions is midnight on Sunday, November 2, 2025. An internal review will take place during the week of November 3, 2025, with a final decision expected on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. The project is set to start in December 2025, with completion ideally by February 8, 2025.
