Alternative Education Framework for Derbyshire Children and Young People

Derbyshire County Council is establishing an open framework to provide alternative education services for children and young people who are excluded, at risk of exclusion, disengaged, or require tailored educational arrangements. The framework supports young people in preparing for their next stages of education, employment, or adult life, with interventions designed to improve behaviour and attendance where needed. Services are delivered across five specialist lots: Lot A (Preventative & Early Intervention support in mainstream schools), Lot B (Targeted Short-Term Provision for pupils expected to return to mainstream education), Lot C (Specialist Long-Term Provision for complex needs), Lot D (Primary Alternative Provision & Transition Support), and Lot E (Vocational & Progression Pathways). Suppliers can apply to one or multiple lots depending on their capacity and expertise. This is an open framework opportunity for education and support service providers.
