Fire Scene Investigation Training Framework

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Authority, on behalf of South Wales Fire and Rescue Service and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service, is establishing a framework agreement to provide Fire Scene Investigation Training. The successful supplier will deliver comprehensive training and assessment to enable staff from all three Welsh Fire and Rescue Services to achieve Tier 2 Fire Scene Investigator status according to the NFCC Competency Framework. Training must prepare delegates to obtain the Skills for Justice (SFJ) Level 5 Certificate in Fire Investigation, meeting both the SFJ Qualification Handbook and NFCC Competency Framework for Fire Investigation 2nd Edition standards. The supplier will provide both training delivery and assessment facilities. Tender documentation with detailed specifications will be published in October 2026.
