Tyre Collection and Processing Services for Kent

Kent County Council is seeking an experienced waste management supplier to collect, transport, and process tyre waste across Kent's 19 Household Waste Recycling Centre sites, as well as fly-tipped tyres. The supplier must handle various tyre types including car, motorcycle, agricultural, and heavy goods vehicle tyres, processing them through lawful and environmentally responsible methods such as shredding, granulation, and repurposing. The facility must be fully permitted with proven Health and Safety and Environmental compliance standards. Priority will be given to solutions that maximise recycling and recovery while avoiding landfill and energy from waste methods. The supplier must have capacity to process up to 125 tonnes of tyre waste annually, deliver highly organised and efficient services, and mobilise within two weeks of contract award.
