Relocation Services for Moorfields Eye Hospital and UCL Institute of Ophthalmology

Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and University College London's Institute of Ophthalmology are seeking a single experienced supplier to manage the coordinated relocation of clinical, research, laboratory, and administrative services to a new integrated centre called Oriel at 4 St Pancras Way, London. The successful supplier will plan, manage, and deliver the safe, controlled, and sequenced relocation of assets from two existing London sites (Moorfields Eye Hospital at 162 City Road and UCL IoO at 11-43 Bath Street) while maintaining service continuity. The scope includes moving specialist medical equipment, laboratory materials including biological samples, IT systems, chemicals, fridges and freezers, and administrative facilities. The supplier must demonstrate experience in managing complex relocations involving clinical operations and sensitive laboratory environments, with careful attention to risk management and minimal service disruption. Each organisation will enter into a separate contract with the appointed supplier. This procurement is conducted under the Procurement Act 2023.
