Business Support Service Supplier

The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is seeking a supplier to deliver a comprehensive Business Support Service (BSS) that will help businesses, charities, and social enterprises across England access guidance and support. The service will provide information, advice, guidance, and signposting on any business issue to all business types, including pre-startups and start-ups, through multiple communication channels: telephone, webchat, email, social media, and instant messaging (such as WhatsApp). Support will be delivered across multiple adviser tiers to accommodate varying complexity of business needs. The supplier must maintain and curate a comprehensive database of business information for use by advisers and external stakeholders. The service must be flexible and capable of scaling up emergency support within 24 hours notice if requested by DBT. While a separate digital front-end or website is not required, the service must be designed to work alongside and integrate with other government-delivered digital services and platforms.
