24/7 Care Support Services Provider for Extra Care Housing Scheme

Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust (JRHT) is seeking an experienced care provider to deliver 24-hour, seven-day-a-week background and emergency support services at New Lodge Extra Care Housing Scheme in New Earswick, York. The scheme houses 105 apartments with approximately 70% tenant and 30% shared owner occupancy. The appointed provider will maintain an on-site presence to deliver emergency alarm response, out-of-hours security, contractor liaison, equipment checks, evacuation support, assistance with activities, temporary illness support, and emergency care coordination. JRHT will retain landlord responsibilities and housing staff, while the provider works collaboratively to support resident wellbeing. The provider may also offer planned care packages directly to residents who choose them, with no guaranteed volume. Additional domiciliary care services in the wider New Earswick area may be permitted separately. The successful provider must maintain CQC registration, appropriate safeguarding protocols, governance, insurance, business continuity plans, and quality assurance arrangements.
