    Brief

New Lodge Extra Care Housing Scheme seeks an experienced care provider to deliver 24/7 background and ad-hoc support services at its 105-apartment facility in New Earswick, York. The successful provider will be based on-site, directly funded by Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust (JRHT), and will take over CQC registration responsibilities for the scheme. Key responsibilities include: delivering ad-hoc/background support services to residents (currently funded through resident support charges), managing individual planned care packages from residents who choose to transfer, and potentially developing an outreach domiciliary care service across New Earswick and beyond. JRHT will remain the landlord and maintain staff presence for landlord functions. The new provider will work collaboratively with JRHT to support residents' independence while ensuring professional care standards. Note that residents retain choice over individual planned packages and may select alternative providers. This presents both a core service contract with JRHT and commercial opportunities for expanded domiciliary care services. Applicants must be capable of obtaining and maintaining CQC registration.
