Ireland: Long-Term Supply Agreement for Rolling Stock Paint

Iarnród Éireann (Irish Rail) is seeking a long-term supplier for rolling stock paint through a competitive procurement process. The supplier must be a specialist company with proven experience supplying paint for railway rolling stock maintenance. The contract will provide spray and brush-applied rolling stock paint in containers of 5 litres or smaller for both heavy and routine maintenance at spray paint facilities in Inchicore and Portlaoise. The successful supplier will be responsible for meeting all of Iarnród Éireann's paint product requirements nationwide and providing technical support to maintenance depots across the country. The paint system must be a two-component solvent-based polyurethane coating formulated for exterior application to railway rolling stock, with excellent durability including long-term colour and gloss retention for a minimum of 8 years. The paint must be capable of being applied over existing two-pack polyurethane coatings and must be convertible for use in solid coat, base coat, and clear coat applications.
