Ballistic Body Armour Supply Contract

This is a direct award opportunity for ballistic body armour to support operational requirements. Currently, there are no suppliers with valid certifications available in the market. This contract is being established in advance of Mehler obtaining their certification, enabling the Authority to be among the first to procure from them once certified. Due to the certification gap, no suitable framework agreements are currently available. This arrangement allows for continued procurement of essential body armour while the Authority monitors framework availability for future purchasing. Once a certified framework becomes available, the Authority intends to transition to that route to market. Suppliers should have or be actively pursuing ballistic body armour certification to be considered.
