Construction of Highway D3 Section 0312/I Kaplice Station - Nažidla

This contract involves the construction of the D3 highway section 0312/I from Kaplice Station to Nažidla. This section is part of the newly constructed D3 highway connecting Prague, Tábor, and České Budějovice to the Czech Republic/Austria border. It will facilitate traffic flow from the existing road I/3 between Kaplice Station and Suchdol. The project includes the construction of a four-lane highway (category D 25.5/130) over a length of 11.990 km, from km 159.550 to 171.550, featuring an asphalt surface, an SOS system, and necessary drainage. The route primarily traverses open, undeveloped land, including agricultural fields and forested areas. The start of construction 0312/I connects to the previous project 0311 Třebonín – Kaplice Station. The D3 highway route in section 0312/I runs west of the existing road I/3, approximately 100 to 1000 meters away. The project includes several bridge structures, including two bridge viaducts named “Zdíky” and “Suchdol.” Additionally, a rest area “Suchdol” is planned on both sides of the highway, along with the construction of a noise barrier “Osovský dvůr” in the cadastral area of Střítež near Kaplice, which is designed for both the D3 section 0311 Třebonín – Kaplice Station and section 0312/I Kaplice Station – Nažidla.
