Snow Removal Services for Municipal Roads in Sapareva Banya

This public procurement contract is for winter maintenance of the municipal road network in Sapareva Banya for the operational seasons 2025/2026, 2026/2027, and 2027/2028. The scope includes snow and ice removal and treatment to prevent icing (sanding) on the road surfaces along specified routes. The total length of the roads requiring winter maintenance is 72.75 km, covering the following areas: Sapareva Banya, Resilovo, Ovcharci, Saparevo, and Panichishte. Key activities include snow and ice removal using high-traffic vehicles and sanding municipal roads to ensure safe passage during winter conditions. In case of emergencies, the contracting authority may adjust priorities, hire additional equipment, and use inert materials as needed. The authority may also assign snow removal for road sections outside the specified routes based on community needs. All roadways must remain passable, with measures taken to prevent slipping and icing, ensuring normal traffic conditions during winter. Oversight will be conducted by authorized representatives of the contracting authority. The authority may also assign additional work related to the contract that was not known at the time of the procedure, within the allocated budget. The supply of materials for sanding is the responsibility of the contracting authority. The services provided under this contract aim to improve road infrastructure during winter, facilitate faster and guaranteed travel on key routes, ensure access to essential services such as healthcare, education, and local businesses, and enhance traffic organization and safety for travelers.
