Electricity Supply and Balancing Group Coordination for Sapareva Banya Municipality

The contract involves the supply of active electrical energy and coordination of a balancing group for the needs of Sapareva Banya Municipality for a period of 24 months, starting from the date of the first registered delivery. The supplier will provide net active electrical energy at medium and low voltage. The price for the delivery of 1 MWh of net electrical energy will be uniform across all tariff zones (peak, daytime, and nighttime) and will be based on the average monthly price according to the hourly consumption of the municipality's facilities and the hourly prices from the Bulgarian Independent Energy Exchange for the 'Day Ahead' market segment, including VAT. The price does not include VAT, excise duties, access and transmission fees, 'obligation to society', network fees, and other payments determined by the Electricity System Operator (ESO) or relevant network operators and regulatory authorities. The municipality will be included in a balancing group without additional charges for imbalances. The quality of the supplied electricity must meet the current national standards and regulations. Continuous electricity supply must be ensured, and the electricity must be delivered in accordance with the Energy Act and other regulations governing public relations related to electricity supply. As the 'balancing group coordinator', the contractor will be responsible for balancing and will include the municipality in the balancing energy market as a participant (indirect member) in a standard balancing group without the municipality paying a participation fee. The municipality has no obligations for forecasting and requesting the necessary quantities of electricity. The contractor will assume all imbalances of its clients.
