Door Access Control System for TfGM Bee Network Cycle Hubs

TfGM (Transport for Greater Manchester) is seeking a single contractor to provide door access control hardware and software services across 12 cycle hub sites throughout the Greater Manchester region. The contractor will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing access control equipment as needed. Existing Netgenium AL370x IP controllers and HID readers may be reused and upgraded where cost-effective, or the contractor may propose alternative hardware solutions. The contractor must manage all system updates and upgrades throughout the contract term and can deliver services directly or through approved subcontractors under their management. This is a flexible contract with a 3+1+1 structure (initial 3-year term with two optional 1-year extensions), potentially running for 5 years total. The contract will commence in late 2026/early 2027 when the current agreement expires. Evaluation will emphasize value for money, with price weighted at 40% of the tender score.
