Construction of Sports Halls in Rostock

The project involves the renovation and reconstruction of the sports hall complex located at Kopenhagener Straße 5a/b in Rostock, which consists of two connected gymnasiums built around 1969/70. These facilities are over 50 years old and have never been modernized, leading to significant structural and fire safety deficiencies. The technical equipment is outdated, and the thermal and weather protection is no longer adequate. The current facilities do not meet the requirements for competitive sports, and accessibility for individuals with disabilities is only partially available. To promote sustainability, a comprehensive renovation of the halls is essential. The construction work will be carried out in four phases: 1. Phase 1: School sports field on the south side, including access to Kopenhagener Str. 5a/b 2. Phase 2: Renovation and expansion of Hall 1 (eastern hall), including access paths and parking 3. Phase 3: Renovation and expansion of Hall 2 (western hall), including access paths and parking 4. Phase 4: Outdoor facilities for a baseball field. After completing the first two phases, the renovation of Hall 2 (Kopenhagener Str. 5a) will commence in the third phase.
