Construction of Sports Halls - Renovation/Demolition of Sports Hall, Kopenhagener Straße 5a, 18107 Rostock - Lot 14 - Sports Floor

The sports hall complex at Kopenhagener Straße 5a/b consists of two interconnected gymnasiums of type GT 60 L, which were built around 1969/70. Therefore, they are now over 50 years old and have never been modernized, showing significant construction and fire safety deficiencies. The technical equipment is outdated, and thermal and weather protection is no longer guaranteed. The hall's facilities are insufficient for the planned competitive operations, and accessibility for people with disabilities is only partially possible. For sustainability reasons, a comprehensive renovation of the halls is therefore essential. The planned construction measures will be implemented in 4 phases: 1st phase: School sports field on the south side, including access to Kopenhagener Str. 5a/b 2nd phase: Renovation and expansion of Hall 1 (eastern hall), including access paths and parking 3rd phase: Renovation and expansion of Hall 2 (western hall), including access paths and parking 4th phase: Outdoor facilities baseball field After the completion of the first two construction phases, the renovation of Hall 2 (Kopenhagener Str. 5a) will now take place in the third construction phase.
