Residential and Nursing Care Services Tender Reopening

North Northamptonshire Council is reopening a tender for residential and nursing care services aimed primarily at individuals aged 65 and older. The Council seeks providers who can offer regulated accommodation, care, support, and meaningful activities for those who cannot live independently, either temporarily or permanently. The service should prioritize the well-being of individuals, enabling them to live as independently as possible while adhering to regulatory care standards. Providers currently under contract or those who have previously worked with North Northamptonshire Council can apply to join the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). Upon joining, existing agreements will be replaced by the new DPS terms. The Council intends to award a contract for an initial period of 48 months, with a possible extension of 12 months, totaling 60 months. This contract commenced on August 1, 2022. Note that the light touch regime applies to these services under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
