HMS Victory Conservation Project - Waste Collection and Disposal Services

The Royal Navy Museums is seeking a qualified waste management contractor to provide comprehensive waste collection and disposal services for the HMS Victory Conservation Project, a major initiative to preserve the historic warship for the next 50 years. The contractor will manage all waste generated specifically by the conservation project, excluding routine operational waste such as office or catering refuse. Key responsibilities include ensuring full compliance with environmental and waste management legislation, safely handling and disposing of hazardous materials including lead-contaminated waste, and supporting the project's successful delivery. The appointed contractor must demonstrate expertise in sustainable waste management practices and the ability to work within Portsmouth Historic Dockyard while HMS Victory remains an active commissioned warship and the Flagship of the First Sea Lord.
