VoIP Telephony and Fibre Internet Services

Great Dunmow Town Council is seeking tenders for a new hosted telephony system and a high-quality fibre internet connection under a five-year contract, with a review option after three years. The Council currently needs eight phones, with the potential to add more in the future. We are looking for a modern VoIP solution that is supported by reliable fibre internet, along with excellent customer service and technical support. Suppliers are encouraged to submit their proposals and ideas for system design, demonstrating how their solution can best meet the Council's needs for flexibility, reliability, and user-friendliness. The Council is particularly interested in solutions that can scale with the organization and ensure uninterrupted service in case of any issues. Tenders will be evaluated based on the Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT) criteria, which includes quality, price, implementation, and added value. The procurement timeline is as follows: notice published on September 1, 2025; deadline for clarification questions by September 12, 2025 (12:00 noon); deadline for tender submissions by September 22, 2025 (12:00 noon); evaluation during the week of September 22-26, 2025; and notification of the award decision by September 30, 2025, with the contract starting on October 1, 2025.
