Transportation Services for Charter Bus and Minibus

The City of Vantaa is seeking bids for charter transportation services using buses and minibuses. The vehicles used for this service must comply with the Clean Vehicles Directive, meaning that 41% of the vehicles must be low-emission and environmentally friendly, such as electric or hybrid vehicles, and must meet current emission limits (Law on Environmental and Energy Efficiency Requirements for Vehicle and Transport Service Procurements). Additionally, the vehicles must meet at least Euro 6/Euro VI standards. The service will be used for various transportation needs of city staff, including transport for well-being days, as well as trips and excursions for school students and children in early childhood education. This procurement does not include minibuses intended for accessible transport. The service may also be temporarily used for more regular transport needs, for example, when students or children need to be placed temporarily in a different location for education or care that is not within walking distance. The ordered trips can be requested throughout Finland, including the Åland Islands, and possibly even abroad by separate agreement. Transportation is generally provided on weekdays between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Three (3) of the lowest bidders will be selected for the framework agreement. The contract duration is two (2) years, with the option to extend the contract for two (2) additional one (1) year periods.
