Library Sorting Return Machines and Maintenance Services

The procurement involves acquiring sorting return machine services for library materials returned in library spaces, specifically for items borrowed by customers. The sorting of materials will be done based on defined criteria (e.g., target library, reservations on items, type of material, department code). The City of Vantaa will purchase the return machine devices, and the procurement also includes ongoing services related to the sorting return machines, as well as maintenance and support services for these machines, as outlined in the tender documents. The procurement unit commits to purchasing return machine devices as follows: - Myyrmäki Library: One (1) sorting return machine with services - Jumbo Library: One (1) sorting return machine with services (procurement during 2026) The procurement includes options as specified in Annex 2 and the pricing form. The buyer will decide on the procurement of options separately for each option. The procurement unit is not committed to the estimated total value or any specific quantities during the contract period as stated in the procurement notice. The procurement seeks one (1) responsible supplier for the sorting return machines, maintenance, and support services. A complete solution is required, including necessary interfaces, software, hardware, firmware, licenses, and maintenance and support services as per the tender and its annexes. The service, along with the equipment delivery, must be available within three (3) months from the buyer's written order, unless otherwise stated in the specifications. The contract period is fixed for two (2) years, after which it will continue indefinitely.
