Signage and Accessibility Products for Helsinki

The procurement focuses on acquiring accessibility-promoting signage and other text and image-based signs for both indoor and outdoor use. All signage must be accessible. The competition includes various types of signs such as area signs for properties, nameplates for organizations, tactile signs for the visually impaired, relief maps, simplified maps, and fixed signs with symbols related to permanent elements (e.g., stairs, elevators). Installation of the signs is included in the contract. In addition to the specified and described signs, other similar signage needs will be addressed to meet the diverse requirements of sectors, municipal enterprises, and stakeholders of Helsinki Corporate Procurement Ltd. The contract duration is four years, consisting of a three-year base period and a one-year option period. The maximum value of the procurement is 5,000,000 euros. The procurement is divided into three categories, with up to three suppliers selected in order of the lowest price. Orders will primarily be placed with the first-ranked supplier in the framework agreement. If the primary supplier cannot provide the design service or signage within the required timeframe, or if they do not have the necessary products or design/maintenance/installation expertise, orders will be placed with the next-ranked supplier. If the buyer needs to order unspecified signage exceeding 20,000 euros, a competitive tendering process will be conducted among the selected suppliers within the category. Signage will be ordered for the use of the sectors and municipal enterprises of the City of Helsinki, as well as for Helsinki Corporate Procurement Ltd. (Helsinki City Spaces Ltd, Auroranlinna Property Ltd, and Helsinki Region Transport).
