Painting Services for School Buildings in Hamburg

SBH | Schulbau Hamburg, a state-owned enterprise of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, is responsible for planning, constructing, maintaining, and managing school properties while considering educational needs and economic principles. This contract involves painting services for a new building at Grellkamp 38-40, which is part of a major restructuring of the site. The two-story building will include administrative areas, a kitchen, dining area, classrooms, and specialized rooms. The dining area will serve as a large gathering space with a stage. The upper floor will feature four large compartments connected by staircases and necessary corridors. Heating will be provided through district heating, and photovoltaic panels will be installed on the roof. The new building will receive funding for climate-friendly construction and aims for DGNB Gold certification. The chosen structure combines reinforced concrete and timber construction, facilitating construction time and allowing for future repurposing and the use of sustainable materials. The exterior will feature a wooden facade. The painting work includes surface preparation, wall and ceiling finishing, and various coatings for different areas, totaling approximately 4,685 m² for walls and 393 m² for ceilings, along with additional work on wooden supports and beams.
