Sanitary Facilities Construction at Brödermannsweg 2

SBH | Schulbau Hamburg, a state-owned enterprise of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, is responsible for planning, constructing, maintaining, and managing school properties while considering educational needs and economic principles. This contract involves the expansion of the Carl-Götze-School, which includes the construction of a two-field sports hall with an attached daycare center. The total area of the building is approximately 2,216 square meters, and the sports hall is designed to meet DIN standards, making it suitable for competitions. The facility will feature a small viewing gallery above the ancillary rooms. The western part of the building will provide additional space for the adjacent daycare center across two floors. The site is characterized by its existing trees. Deliveries and site access will be via Brödermannsweg 2, near the sports hall and fire access, located in the southern part of the school property. The new building will be constructed using solid construction methods, with floor slabs and some walls made of reinforced concrete. Other load-bearing walls will be made of masonry or reinforced concrete. The hall's roof will have a steel support structure, and the facade will consist of a double-skin brick veneer, partially with thin bricks. The sanitary work includes approximately 180 meters of wastewater piping, 540 meters of drinking water piping with associated thermal insulation, 14 showers, 5 children's washbasins, 11 toilet facilities, 12 washbasin units, 2 accessible sanitary objects, and electric water heating.
