Framework Agreement for Tram Track Components

The procurement unit, Pääkaupunkiseudun Kaupunkiliikenne Oy (also referred to as the Buyer), organized a competition to establish a framework agreement with multiple suppliers for the procurement of tram track components. The components sought include various types of track fittings, such as left and right fittings for different rail sizes (R25, R50, R100) and types (Vignol). Detailed technical requirements for the procurement are specified in Attachment 2 of the tender portal. This framework agreement does not impose any minimum purchase obligations and does not grant exclusive rights to the selected suppliers for providing the components to the Buyer. Purchases will be made from selected suppliers based on competitive bidding. The Buyer aims to conduct annual procurement competitions around May to cover the yearly needs. Additionally, there may be individual order needs that will also be procured through mini-competitions. The initial term of the framework agreement is two (2) years, with the option for the Buyer to extend the agreement two (2) times for an additional two (2) years each. Therefore, the maximum duration of the framework agreement is six (6) years.
