Logistics Center Structural Planning Services

The University Hospital Bonn (UKB) is planning to transition its goods logistics to an Automated Transport System (ATS) through the Smart Logistic Network (SLN). This project includes the construction of a new logistics center, a logistics tunnel, and connections to both new and existing buildings, as well as the ATS system. The new logistics center will be closely linked to the UKB's waste yard, where goods will be delivered and primarily distributed through the planned supply tunnel. Waste from the clinics and institutes will also be transported to the waste yard via the same route for centralized disposal. Various containers will be cleaned in container washing facilities within the logistics center before being returned to use. The tunnel system will initially connect to several key buildings, including the Central Preparation Unit for Medical Products (Building 45), the Supply Center (Building 50), the Apotel (Building 53), specifically the pharmacy area, and the new Heart Center (Building 25). This procurement process focuses on the structural planning for the new logistics center.
