    Brief

The project involves the design and construction of an underground parking garage and the redesign of the public space at Heldenplein and Graaf D’Ursellaan in Heist, Belgium. This initiative is part of a larger project approved in 2020, which is divided into six phases. Phases 1, 2, and 3 have been completed, and Phase 4 is currently underway, expected to finish by June 2025. The technical documentation for Phase 5 is being prepared for execution from September 2025 to June 2026. Phase 6, which focuses on the complex design and construction of the underground parking garage, is now open for study proposals. The redesign will include the construction of the parking facility, the renewal of the sewer system, and the enhancement of the above-ground area. All work must be completed and operational by June 2030. The project budget is estimated at 16.9 million euros, excluding VAT, with a focus on sustainable development and achieving high-quality outcomes. The lighting concept for the area will be developed in close collaboration with Fluvius.
