Allotment Site Establishment and Development

This procurement opportunity covers the basic establishment of Longforth Farm Allotments, including mandatory works and optional enhancements. Mandatory works include: site clearance and preparation of allotment plots; grass pathways for internal access; a gravel car park (200mm Type 1 sub-base with 50mm gravel surface); timber post plot boundaries (600mm posts with 300mm above ground); relocation of the entrance gate to prevent unauthorized vehicle access; a fence and pedestrian gate separating the car park from plots; plot numbering and site signage; and plot mowing. Optional works available for individual pricing include: plot cultivation; 35 concrete shed bases (6ft x 4ft); surfaced internal pathways with stabilizing mesh and self-binding gravel finish; supply and installation of 35 sheds; mains water connection; and installation of three water standpipes at designated locations.
