Romania – Purchase and Transport of LED Warning Signal Devices

This contract involves the procurement and transportation of LED warning signal devices for marking dangerous curves and sectors on national roads and highways managed by the National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (C.N.A.I.R. S.A.). The scope of work includes the supply, transport, and installation of LED devices that will enhance road safety by clearly signaling hazardous areas. The LED warning devices include: - Variable message signs with LEDs, which will be used to indicate curves and will feature the A6a figure 'Sequential Panels for Particularly Dangerous Curves' as per SR 1848-2:2011. These signs will be equipped with lighting devices to highlight warning signals related to road geometry, particularly approaching curves. - Additional LED signaling devices that will be installed above existing road signs, each equipped with at least two LEDs housed in an aluminum box, functioning in a cascading manner to enhance existing road signage. - Mounting/control systems and photovoltaic panels for the LED warning devices, ensuring the cascading operation of variable message signs or additional signaling devices. According to Article 160, paragraph (1) of Law no. 98/2016, interested economic operators have the right to request clarifications or additional information regarding the procurement documentation up to 18 days before the deadline for submitting offers. The contracting authority will respond to all requests for clarification or additional information within a single deadline, 11 days before the offer submission deadline. This response period is established to provide economic operators with adequate time to analyze the procurement documentation and subsequently prepare their offers based on the responses provided by the contracting authority.
