Healthcare Equipment Procurement – Medical Supply Carts

Tuomi Logistiikka Oy is conducting a procurement process for medical supply carts, logistics carts, resuscitation carts, anesthesia carts, ward carts, and sample collection carts for the Central Finland cooperation area, including the South Ostrobothnia, Kanta-Häme, and Pirkanmaa welfare areas, as well as for Sydänkeskus Oy and Fimlab Laboratoriot Oy. The contract duration is two (2) years, with an option to extend indefinitely after the initial contract period. A new procurement process will be conducted approximately four to five years after the start of the initial contract. The estimated start date for the contract is September 2025. The procurement is divided into eight categories: 1. Medical Supply Cart 2. Medical Supply Cart 3. Logistics Cart 4. Resuscitation Cart 5. Anesthesia Cart 6. Ward Cart, Trays 7. Ward Cart, Boxes 8. Sample Collection Cart. For each category, 1-3 economically advantageous bidders will be selected based on the best price-quality ratio. Bidders can submit proposals for one or more categories. The estimated total value of the procurement is calculated for four (4) years, distributed approximately as follows: South Ostrobothnia welfare area 10%, Kanta-Häme welfare area 70%, Pirkanmaa welfare area 20%. The estimated procurement quantities for the contract period are not binding for the buyer. The majority of the total quantity will be procured at the beginning of the contract period due to the equipping of a new hospital located in the Kanta-Häme welfare area. The procurement contract will be utilized by the South Ostrobothnia welfare area, Kanta-Häme welfare area, Pirkanmaa welfare area, Sydänsairaala Oy, Fimlab Laboratoriot Oy, and Tuomi Logistiikka Oy for their owners and affiliated entities, primarily serving public sector clients operating mainly in the Central Finland cooperation area. The Kanta-Häme welfare area may also be referred to as OmaHäme, the Pirkanmaa welfare area as Pirha, and the South Ostrobothnia welfare area as HyväEp.
